 Fred Hughes has a diversity of experiences and accomplishments. At the age of twelve, Fred was saved and at 14, he was a leader of his youth group. From that time forward, Fred has moved in leadership roles in the church and in the business community.
Following a family tradition, Fred became a nurseryman and later discovered an interest in photography. Fred Hughes holds the prestigious Master of Photography degree from the Professional Photographers of America. He was President of Panhandle PPA three years, a board member of the Texas Professional Photographers for 6 years, a judge for state-level competitions, and a sought-after speaker. Fred received numerous awards for his work and was published both in magazines and books. In 1986, Fred founded Decision Ministries, a ministry of evangelistic outreach that has operated primarily in Texas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico & Oklahoma.
Fred and his wife, Irene, have been building the body of Christ by encouraging pastors and congregations to reach the un-reached of their cities. Children's park ministries and adult seminars have been the platform for training soul winners, those who actively pursue the lost. Decision Ministries International was incorporated in 2004 and is now a 501c3 non-profit organization. As pastors for five years in Dumas, Texas, Fred and Irene developed in their ministry gifts and learned to better serve the church at large. The couple flows in strong prophetic and teaching gifts. Mission trips to Russia, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Honduras, Columbia, Uganda and the Philippine Islands have given Fred the international experience and relational base he needs for leading short-term missions to reach the nations for Christ. Fred insists on a ministry of excellence in every aspect. Ministry may be voluntary, but it should be done with excellence as representatives of the Most High God. His goal is to promote full involvement of each person's unique ministry gifts while making a discovery of the global effect that even one person can have in the advancement of the kingdom. Knowledge and experience are required to accomplish a ministry of excellence, and Decision Ministries exists to provide both to those who desire to serve God. |

| Irene Hughes has spent a lifetime loving God and helping His people. She and her husband, Fred Hughes, owned and operated a photography business for 26 years, pastored together for five years, raised two children of their own, and parented teen-aged and pre-teen girls at Methodist Home.
Irene currently works with low income and First Generation students as Advising Associate for Student Support Services with Amarillo College Moore County Campus. In the last five years Irene has learned much about poverty and its victims and how to minister to them. Using her teaching and prophetic gifts, she has been a conference speaker in Russia, Mexico, and Guatemala, as well as a five-state area in the U.S. Irene birthed and administrated a children's park ministry, Victory Camp, for seven summers in Dumas, Texas.
Learning to hear the voice of God has been a lifetime pursuit for Irene, and she desires that the body of Christ know God and flow in the Holy Spirit.
Names God has given Irene are: Emergency Spiritual Technician (EST), Critical Care Counselor (CCC), Rescuer of my children, Recruiter for the harvest, Enabler (enable others to do God's will), Pacesetter (run alongside others to pace for completion of race), International Ambassador, Forerunner, Teacher, Worshiper, and Intercessor.
In response to Irene's question, "but, what is my ministry?" The Lord replied, "The greatest ministry you can have is to love my people!"
