Featured Article - Year of Contact

The word that I have for the 2007 year is "contact". Contact means when two things touch together. Often when two things come together something happens! I believe that this is a year of great things happening as we see things touch together that have been apart for a long time. It happens that sometimes things polarize and when brought together again there is a discharge! Some things will be like that, and others will be more like when two magnets are brought near, they quickly attract and affix as if they were made to go together. In either case, change because of contact will hallmark this coming year.

Many of you will experience a new "contact" with God that will completely change the way you think and the things you value. God is reaching His finger down, as depicted in the famous painting 'Hands Of God And Man' by Michelangelo, because God wants to make contact with mankind in a new and powerful way. I believe that God is going to pour out great revelation in this year that will open many new secrets in the Word of God -- wonderful things that we have not had full understanding of until now. In this same time a fresh release of the wisdom from God will come. There will also be a release of lies from the realm of darkness. Many deceivers will try to make convincing contact as well.

It is the Chinese "Year of the Pig," and it is unclean to the Jew to eat pork. In like fashion, there is a contact that is not to be made and a contact that is to be made. You are going to need the witness of the Holy Spirit to choose the right contacts and avoid those that will not be best for you. Pray for eyes to see and ears to hear.

Do not be fearful for the Holy Spirit will guide you in all things that you need to contact and connect yourself to. The revelation that will be given to the church in this year will have great impact on those who have been in the "testing and tuning" or the Joseph and Daniel preparation times. Many have been in a place that has seemed to be the desert or dungeon, but there is going to be contact made this year! With that contact there will be a supernatural change of status in the situation -- favor where there was no favor, relationship where none existed just days before, even those that seemed to be enemies now wanting to befriend you.

Others will have angelic contact! God is sending some strong and important prophetic messages. Many messages will be revealed through the angelic messengers of God. Just as Jesus' first coming was announced by angelic host so also will His second coming be. These announcements will not be as in the nativity days, but they will be as God designs them. We therefore must watch and pray for truly some great things are at hand. Contact is beginning!

Make yourself ready to be a contact point.

The angel said to Mary: Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Mary said: Luke 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

In this year be ready for contact! Be ready to say, "be it unto me!"

God has some great plans for you in this coming year, so anticipate the contact and know: Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

My prayer for you is, "Clear heaven in 2007."

President Ronald Regan once said: "When we are a nation no longer under God. We will be a nation gone under."

Our founding fathers here in the USA knew that the nation needed God, but we did not need to be a church state where there was no freedom of worship and faith.

Now, try to imagine Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez dressed up as a bishop — the head bishop — of his own state-sponsored church. It could very well happen! Other Chavez-backed Presidents like Nicaragua's newly re-elected Daniel Ortega may soon follow his example.

According to media reports coming out of Latin America, President Chavez is considering a proposal that would establish him as the high priest of his own form of evangelical Christianity, convert his cabinet members into bishops of a lower rank, and submit church activities to the civil and military power of his government.

It is still unclear who is behind the proposal. Publicly, it has taken the form of a petition by leaders of “Centro Cristiano de Salvación” (Christian Center of Salvation). The association claims to represent 17,000 evangelical churches and 5,000,000 Venezuelans. Their request is simple: make their denomination the country’s official religion, teach it in all public schools and pay the pastors from government coffers. In turn, they will make Chavez their head bishop and promise to submit absolutely to his authority.

You can quickly see the need for God in the affairs of a nation, but not for some man or religion to be able to play God over a nation.

In whatever government we find ourselves while living here on this planet, we must remain ambassadors for the kingdom to which we truly belong as believers, the Kingdom of God. Jesus is the soon coming King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord! In the days ahead we must continue to pray that His kingdom to come! Peace among the nations will come only when Jesus comes to establish His government! Peace has already come to establish its place in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. It is by that peace and presence of God's comforting Spirit that we must live until Jesus comes.

"Peace on Earth and Goodwill to Men" That Spirit is found only in the heart not in any government now on this earth!

Decision One - Make Heaven & Miss Hell!

In today's world thoughts of eternity are possibly the last thing on most people's minds. The question still remains, "Will you make heaven and miss hell?" We can argue if there is such a thing, or we can ignore the subject all together, but the question still remains.

You may have resolved this question in your life, but what about your neighbor, your children, your spouse? In this life there is one and only one way to make heaven and miss hell. His name is Jesus! There is no decision that anyone can make about anything that has more value than this decision. It is a life or death situation we are talking about here - eternal life or death! If your friend was walking out in front of an oncoming truck would you not cry out to him?

If a person, you or your friend, does not know Jesus as Lord and Savior, then that person is in peril of missing heaven. Cry out!

Cry out to Jesus, or cry out to your friend! Forever is a long time!

Now is the time. Today is the day of salvation!

Trips & Tips

In the next couple of months I need your prayers.I plan to travel to Uganda, Africa in January, to Honduras, Central America and Columbia, South America in March. I believe that God has some things that He wants to build in me and some revelation of how, where, and when to take the next steps in this ministry. I also appreciate all who see this ministry as good ground for your giving to the Lord. We thank you so much for your prayers and support in 2006, and we thank you in advance for what you will do in 2007!

Irene and I are ever grateful that we can serve the Lord by bringing hope where there is little and teaching where it is limited. None of this is possible without your support and prayers. We cannot thank you enough. Our prayer for you is that God will prosper and bless you in this coming year. We pray that divine contact be made, and God will supernaturally lift you up, bless you and cause you to be a blessing to others.
