Featured Article - God's Heart

The word that I have for the church is, "You know enough. Now get busy!" How many sermons does your pastor have to preach before you feel qualified, or lead, to win the lost? How many healing CDs and Benny Hinn programs do you need to watch before you feel like you can lay hands on the sick and see them recover? How many degrees or course completion certificates do you need before you can lead a home Bible study, or do a little instructional leadership down at the coffee shop or beauty shop? How many books do you need to read or websites do you need to visit for you to have enough good news to share the gift of eternal life with someone? Someone who is at the supermarket , gym, shopping mall or any other place where you come into contact with people is waiting for you to show up. How much do you need to know before you can listen to and pray for someone who has needs or troubles? How much training is necessary before you are qualified to love someone enough to greet them with a smile and encourage them?

This summer God's heart might just be for you to show up at Little League baseball games or a soccer field. God's heart might be for you to start that park ministry you have had in mind for your neighborhood but just have not gotten around to.

God's heart is waiting on you to make a move! That is right! You heard me correctly! If there are not several great ministry opportunities for you within your local church, then get creative!

The number one excuse is, "I am just too busy!" For most people that is exactly correct! Too busy! It is not generally a time problem, it is a priority problem. The old saying, "time is money," is actually quite accurate! What you apply your time to is how you are spending you life. Do you have some investments in the Kingdom of God? Perhaps it is time to re-evaluate your portfolio of time investment.

Mat 21:28 "What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, 'Son, go and work today in the vineyard.'
Mat 21:29 "'I will not,' he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.
Mat 21:30 "Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, 'I will, sir,' but he did not go.
Mat 21:31 "Which of the two did what his father wanted?" "The first," they answered.

Like Peter we say, "I would die for you," but we do not visit the sick or minister to widows and orphans. We do not have time in our busy lives to check on our neighbors or even our friends. I am not writing this to bring condemnation but rather to spur you on to good works!

John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Jesus then handed His light to us and said: Mat 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
Mat 5:15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
Mat 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

If we allow our lights to shine, if we work while it is still day, we can be confident of God's will working in and through our lives.

Phil 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Phil 1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart;

God's heart and our hearts become the same when we think like this! God's heart is for you and I to be more that conquerors! Perhaps we need to start by conquering our own busy schedules and excuses!

Prophetic Countdown-These United States?

One Nation Under God. A profound starting place -- one in which our countrymen and the founding fathers of this country intended we should always remember. Today we see a nation that is not united, but rather very divided. The division is not about a war. The division is not about our safety or our economy. The division is not about our past or our future. The division is about our God.

We are a nation at war with itself about what it believes and in whom it believes. Every American and a few million other people who are not Americans, but live here, will stand up and say, "One Nation Under God." The question is, "Which God?"

Will we as a nation emerge from this division a stronger country, or will we ultimately fall divided, broken, spiritually and physically bankrupt?

We are America at the CROSS roads!

Many factions and ideologies from atheistic to Zionist, from religious to rights-extremists, communist to freedom-fighters exist today. It is about time for something to happen that will reveal the real deal!

When a nation goes down or a society perishes, one condition may always be found. They forgot where they came from.

This country must have a sweeping renewal of its belief system. That is not going to come except by prayer! The one true God only shows up at places where He has been invited! The day, the time, the hour has come when the people who are called by His name must humble themselves and pray! We must ask and believe for a mighty move of God to sweep this country! We must ask God to show up and show out! My question is, "Do you know how He will do that?" The answer is, "Through you!" Please answer this question: What would happen If every true Christian decided to win one soul a month, or even one soul a year? You see, there are people who need help finding the truth. In the absence of truth people believe a lie! People are going to believe something, right or wrong. Truth, or not, they will believe something. People's hearts are like the soil: whatever the seed, good or bad, it will grow in the soil. The soil does not care, it just causes seed to grow.

Mat 13:18 "Listen then to what the parable of the sower means:
It simply means that if we sow, we will see results.

Mat 13:23 But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

Here my friends is the key verse that makes the harvest happen!

Mat 13:3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
Mat 13:4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell

If we do not go, we cannot sow! If we do not sow, they will not know. Because no seed has fallen upon the soil of their hearts, and no harvest of good seed will be there, only tares and tears will follow.

Oh Glory! Old Glory! There is hope and good news for America and the world. Jesus is Lord! Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;

There is great power in the living seed of the gospel! There is power enough to change our nation and cause it to rediscover the one true God! Pray and sow! Pray and sow! Pray and sow!

Decision One - Winning!

Winning in life is the will of God for His children.

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Every morning when you get up you should start out on the offensive in a full-attack mode. Do not start your day out in neutral! Get it in gear. Start speaking winning scriptures. Let the enemy of your soul know that you are coming after another hunk of his hide.

The night is over, so I put on the armor of light according to (Romans 13:12). The work I do today will be shown for what it is, because the day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of this man's work. If what I have built survives, I will receive my reward. I am after a great reward according to 1 Cor 3:13-14, and I will have it by days end. I declare this morning 2 Cor 6:2, For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation. Because of me today, salvation will come into someone's life. I plan to plunder hell and populate heaven. Therefore, I put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, I will be well able to stand my ground and after I have done everything, to stand. I will be the last man standing! I stand firm for the glory of my God (Eph 6:13). This is the day the LORD has made, l will rejoice and be glad in it (Psa 118:24). Father, thank you for this day you have given to me that I may have yet another opportunity to advance your kingdom.

Every Christian should live offensively! Taking the offensive is not just an action taken externally, it is always a decision made from within. You see, people who live their lives on the defensive never rise above the problems they face. Winning is not a word they often use. Maintaining is not what God had in mind. Lukewarm is not what God made you to be! Be careful not to allow your "trying to be in balance" to become an excuse for not taking hold of what God told you to do! You are much more likely to score in life if you are on the offensive! If God be for you, who can be against you? YOU ARE WINNING IN LIFE, so act like it!

Trips & Tips

Irene & I will be teaching and preaching in the USA for the next few months. There are much need funds that must be gathered for several projects and upcoming events. Please pray for the ministry and consider making a monthly contribution to Decision Ministries International. We have a great work to do, and you can be part of what God is doing.

Tony Poole and I will be traveling to Bogota, Columbia the last part of the summer to begin a training that will be taught all over South, Central and North America. It is very important that we are successful in Bogota. Please pray!
